Former NFL player Robert Quinn was arrested after a multi-vehicle crash in North Charleston

A former NFL player was arrested by the North Charleston Police Department early Friday morning after police said he caused a multi-vehicle collision.

According to the incident report, Robert Quinn was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident causing property damage.

The collision occurred when Quinn, driving a maroon Ford F-150, struck the passenger side of a Honda Element, which then set off a domino effect in which the Honda plowed into a blue Ford F-150, which then struck a purple Chrysler 300 Report.

The report states that officers were called to 7791 Dorchester Road for the collision, which occurred at 2:04 a.m

The North Charleston Fire Department was the first to arrive on the scene and reported that Quinn was in a vehicle and was attempting to leave the scene.

Upon arrival, officers observed Quinn in the passenger seat of a white Dodge Challenger with another person in the driver’s seat. The driver of the vehicle stated that Quinn called them and asked to be picked up from the scene of the accident.

Quinn reportedly had injuries to her head and hands, as well as fresh bleeding, consistent with injuries sustained in a vehicle collision.

Officers reported that Quinn was uncooperative with them when asked to provide identification and stated that he did not need to provide his information because he did not take any action. They also reported that he had slurred speech.

When he turned in his driver’s license, they discovered Quinn was the registered owner of the maroon Ford.

Quinn was a graduate of Fort Dorchester High School and most recently played for the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles in 2022.
