Fortnite servers go down, hundreds report outages | Technical News

Hundreds of users are reporting problems with Fortnight. There are currently 588 instances registered with Downdetector.

People said they were unable to access the video game platform as there were issues across the UK.

It came as a major update was released with users receiving messages that servers were offline.

Some said they couldn’t log in at all.

The gaming platform said that the downtime has ended and users can now play the latest update.

Fortnite wrote this morning: “We have temporarily disabled reload while we work to resolve an issue. We will let you know once service is fully restored.”

Later updated: “Downtime for v33.00 has ended!”
