Fresno is seeing an increase in potholes due to the rainy season

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — City of Fresno crews are currently dealing with a significant increase in reports of potholes, bringing with it the start of the rainy season. Crews are working tirelessly around the clock to fill as many potholes as possible before the next expected storm hits next Saturday.

Driving on broken roads like Mckinley Avenue reveals the frustration of many residents. Potholes become particularly problematic in the rainy season, as drivers often avoid them. “We just walk around them and I just pray when there are puddles and it’s raining, I just pray that I don’t hit a pothole,” Fresno resident Diane Bradford said.
