FSU holds off flip attempts while 4-star defensive lineman Kevin Wynn signs with Seminoles

Florida State, fending off flip attempts from multiple schools, secured the commitment of another blue chip in its 2025 recruiting class by sending four-star defensive lineman Kevin Wynn his John Hancock as part of the early signing period.

From his original engagement article:

Wynn chose the Seminoles over two dozen other offers from the likes of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, NC State Wolfpack and North Carolina Tar Heels , South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Longhorns and USC Trojans.

Wynn was named his school’s division defensive player of the year as a sophomore after recording 45 tackles (including 18 for losses), four sacks and a forced fumble. He followed that up with a junior campaign that included 70 tackles (30 for loss – yes, THIRTY TFL), two sacks, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal attempt.
