The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to look to sign a quarterback in 2025.

But finding a top prospect might not be easy, as the Raiders currently sit at No. 8 in the draft and reportedly can’t decide on a spot higher than No. 4 or lower than No. 10.

So you have to get creative. They could perhaps trade up in the draft to get a targeted quarterback, or they could try to sign or trade for a veteran in free agency.

So they could take on a quarterback age in the draft.

This is where Carson Beck could come into play. The quarterback from Georgia has declared for the NFL draft. Beck suffered an elbow injury that ended his college career, but he was expected to recover over the next year.

Beck wasn’t considered a top young player before his injury and had ups and downs in the 2024 season. But after a strong 2023 season that featured tight end Brock Bowers, who is of course a star for the Raiders, he was considered a top candidate.

A reunion between Beck and Bowers could be attractive to the Raiders in the future, and he could give them more options in 2025 if they’re interested.
