Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the Western Conference and Eastern Conference in first-time fan returns, respectively NBA All-Star Voting 2025 presented by AT&T.

In addition to Jokić (west frontcourt) and Antetokounmpo (east frontcourt), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (west guard) from the Oklahoma City Thunder and LaMelo Ball (east guard) from the Charlotte Hornets are the top selectors in their respective position groups.

Below are the top 10 voters by position group in early fan returns.

Tomorrow (Friday January 3rd) is the next 3 for 1 day, where every fan vote will count three times. The next fan voting update will be published on Thursday, January 9th.


NBA All-Star Voting

NBA All-Star Voting presented by AT&Tthe NBA’s official 5G wireless network, opens on Thursday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. ET and ends on Monday, January 20th at 11:59 p.m. ET, giving fans the opportunity for Vote for the NBA All-Star Game Starter via the NBA app and NBA.com using your NBA ID.

The NBA ID, which offers fans benefits and rewards from the league and its partners, is free to join here. Voters in the United States will automatically be entered into AT&T’s NBA ID All-Star Voting Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to the San Francisco Bay Area for NBA All-Star 2025.

During the voting period, NBA ID members may submit a complete ballot each day through the NBA app and the NBA.com voting site (NBA.com/vote). A full roster includes three frontcourt players and two guards from both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. All current NBA players are available to choose from.

During six special “3-on-1 days,” NBA ID members’ votes count three times. These days occur from 12:01 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. ET: Saturday, December 21st, Wednesday, December 25th, Friday, January 3rd, Friday, January 10th, Friday, January 17th, and Monday, January 20th . January (the last day of voting).

Fan Vote updates will be posted on the first three Thursdays of January (January 2, 9, and 16). TNT will announce the starters for the NBA All-Star Game on Thursday, January 23rd and the reserves on Thursday, January 30th.

Current NBA players and a media panel will continue to work with fans to select starters for the NBA All-Star Game. Each player and media member may cast a complete ballot during the voting period.

After all votes for the NBA All-Star Game starters are counted, players in each conference will be ranked by position (guard and frontcourt) within each of three voting groups – fan votes, player votes and media votes . Each player’s score is calculated by averaging their weighted rank from fan, player and media votes. The top two scoring guards and three frontcourt players in each conference will be named NBA All-Star Game starters. The fan voting serves as a decision-making process for players in a position group with the same score.
