Girl Scout Cookies: Two flavors will be discontinued after 2025

The soon-to-be-discontinued flavors will be added to other flavors like Raspberry Rally in the vault.

WASHINGTON — Two Girl Scout cookie flavors will be retired after the 2025 season.

The Girl Scouts of the USA announced Tuesday that its iconic S’mores and Toast Yay flavors will disappear from its cookie lineup at the end of the season. The S’mores flavor, a twist on the fireside treat, was first introduced in 2017, while Toast-Yay, inspired by French toast, joined the classics in 2021.

According to Girl Scouts, fans of the popular cookie flavors will be able to purchase them until 2025 while supplies last. The flavors will be available at cookie stands or through Digital Cookie’s online retail store.

S’mores and Toast-Yay will have one last hurray this cookie season alongside classic flavors like Thin Mint, Samoas/Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs.

The soon-to-be-discontinued flavors will be added to other flavors like Raspberry Rally in the vault. Raspberry Rally, marketed as the legendary Thin Mint’s “Sister Cookie,” had a brief one-year run before being discontinued. The rallies were sold exclusively online starting with the 2023 cookie season, a strategy aimed at improving the troops’ e-commerce capabilities. But the hard-to-find cookies sold out immediately for many troops, with boxes popping up on eBay for as much as $50.

The organization has not announced replacement flavors for Raspberry Rally, S’mores or Toast-Yay.

Girl Scout cookie season officially began on Tuesday, January 7th. The season typically runs from January to April, although local timing varies depending on location.
