Hulu wants to whet your appetite for the upcoming football comedy Chad Powerswith Glenn Powell (Twister), which will appear on the streaming service in fall 2025. The half-hour comedy from co-creators Powell and Michael Waldron follows hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell) whose bad behavior hurts his college career. As a result, he disguises himself and enters a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.

Chad Powers is based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ Eli’s places series, the half-hour comedy from 20th Television. Eli Manning serves as executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN. Waldron and Adam Fasullo are executive producers for Anomaly Pictures. Luvh Rakhe will serve as executive producer alongside Tony Yacenda, who will also serve as director.

The cast of Chad Powers Also starring are Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Stece Zahn as Jake Hudson.
