Glen Powell is in a suit and enters the field in the first teaser trailer for the new Hulu series Chad PowersPremiere in autumn. The video can be viewed above.

The half-hour comedy from co-creators Powell and Michael Waldron follows hotshot QB Russ Holliday (Powell) whose bad behavior ruins his college career. As a result, he disguises himself and enters a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.

The short teaser gives a glimpse into Holliday’s transformation. With the help of a wig and some facial prosthetics, he is given a second chance to make his dreams come true.

“I’m about to have something happen, and it’s something really big,” he said in the clip while speaking to an unidentified person.

The series also stars Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.

Chad Powers is based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ Eli’s places series, the half-hour comedy from 20th Television. Eli Manning serves as executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN. Waldron and Adam Fasullo are executive producers for Anomaly Pictures. Luvh Rakhe will serve as executive producer alongside Tony Yacenda, who will also serve as director.
