Golden Globes 2025 Winners List: ‘Shogun,’ ‘Emilia Perez’ Top TV & Film Awards – National

Less than a week after we ushered in 2025, the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards kicked off awards season, and the celebrities on the red carpet certainly didn’t disappoint.

Comedian Nikki Glaser kicked off what she called “Ozempic’s biggest night” with a promise: “I’m not here to roast you.”

The first winner of the evening was Zoe Saldaña for Best Supporting Female Actress. Saldaña won for her performance in Jacques Audiards Emilia Perezthe trans musical that won the top 10 awards.

FX’s Shogun Things also started early with wins for Hiroyuki Sanada for Best Actor in a Drama Series and Tadanobu Asano for Best Supporting Male Actor in a Drama Series. “I’m very happy!” Asano shouted with his arms raised.

“I never thought I would be so happy to be called a hacker,” said Jean Smart, who won her second Globe for best female lead actress in a TV comedy for her role as stand-up comedian Deborah Vance Hacksa role that also earned her three consecutive Emmys.

Kieran Culkin won his second Golden Globe for Male Supporting Actor, Motion Picture for his role in A real pain.

“My wife and I drank tequila with Mario Lopez – we definitely felt that, all the talk is gone,” he began, before segueing into sincere gratitude.

Colin Farrell took home his third career Golden Globe, this time for Male Actor in a Limited Series, an anthology series made into a television movie for his role in The penguin.


“No one to thank for it, I did it all by myself,” he joked. “You all know it takes a village, whether it’s on the small screen or the big screen. I am here thanks to the talents of so many people over the years.”

Demi Moore won her first-ever Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) and gave a passionate speech about finding herself as an actress.

Baby reindeer won the Golden Globe for a limited series, anthology series or television movie, led by a moving speech from creator and star Richard Gadd. The award for best comedy went to Hacksand best drama went to Shogun, who had a truly golden evening.

Adrien Brody and Fernanda Torres also took home the award for best film actress The brutalist And Emilia Perez won the two Globes for best picture.

The embattled Globes, no longer presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, are still in comeback mode after years of scandal and organizational upheaval.
