Good morning, Las Vegas: It’s Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve morning and early afternoon will be fairly quiet, with partly cloudy skies. Wind gusts will become stronger towards the afternoon and into the evening. This is really when we expect the majority of this system to arrive in our forest.

Las Vegas has a 50% chance of rain showers, with measurable rainfall at the airport perhaps around a tenth of an inch. Whatever rainfall we get will be much needed after this long, near-record dry spell.
