Grace Van Dien flees X after igniting FaZe Clan again at the Streamer Awards

While FaZe Clan scored a big win at the 2024 Streamer Awards, it wasn’t without a little drama when actress Grace Van Dien took the stage and reignited her feud with the organization.

Before FaZe Clan’s full relaunch in April 2024, the organization was corporatized and lost much of its value in the market as a result. As part of the strategy in 2023, new members were acquired from other areas that are not exclusively related to gaming or e-sports.

One of those members was “Stranger Things” actress Grace Van Dien. But before it was even officially announced, FaZe’s original members felt resentment and voiced their displeasure on social media.

What followed was a nasty back-and-forth on the internet, with the actress quickly leaving the organization after tearful encounters with the original members. Many other popular streamers spoke out in her defense given the ridicule she faced from the crew’s founding members.

The feud has now reignited more than a year later, as the 2024 Streamer Awards sets the table for another exchange between the parties. As host of the show, Van Dien took the stage and took the opportunity to take a quick dig at FaZe.

Grace Van Dien calls out FaZe Clan again

“I’m committed to bronze in every game I play, that’s why I never got into FaZe, right?” Van Dien said. This comment came just before she read out the award for Best Creative Arts Streamer, which FaZe’s Plaqueboymax won.

“You could hear how angry she was in her voice…” Banks chimed in on X hours later after the official FaZe X account (formerly Twitter) sarcastically fueled the beef. “Without FaZe Grace this wouldn’t be possible.”

“The FaZe boys are so brave online but last night they just stared and whispered when they saw me,” Grace added on her own X account. “Micro energy.”

“Stop holding on to our shit,” Banks replied. “Nobody knows you or even cares about you. You tried to break into FaZe, you’re a bastard that none of us wanted, and you’re still pissed.”

The back and forth has only continued since then, with other members like Ronaldo also getting involved. He mocked FaZe Kaysan’s viral attempt at flirting and suggested dinner with Van Dien to “fix” the situation. “No, no, no… not the FaZe guys, just us,” he joked.

A few hours after the feud flared up again on social media, Van Dien has now deactivated her X account.

Apparently there’s no water under the bridge after all the drama of 2023. There is still bitterness between the actress and the revamped FaZe team, which also picked up the Best Content Organization of the Year award at the event.
