I need everyone to stay on their feet as we head into the final quarter of the regular season home finale at US Bank Stadium, with the Minnesota Vikings holding a three-point lead over the Green Bay Packers at 27-10.

The Vikings got the ball early in the second half and wasted no time in extending their lead as they moved into Green Bay territory and Sam Darnold caught his second touchdown pass of the game, this time an 18-yarder to Jordan Addison Machen They made it 20-3, just over five minutes into the quarter.

After another three-and-out for the Packers, the Vikings kept up their aggressiveness, and it cost them when Sam Darnold threw an interception to Carrington Valentine, whose return put the Packers in the red zone. Green Bay capitalized on the loss of the ball, and Josh Jacobs made amends for his earlier mistake by going inside from two yards out, cutting Minnesota’s lead to 20-10.

Minnesota responded with an outstanding drive, getting another touchdown pass from Sam Darnold, this time a 9-yarder to Cam Akers, who extended the lead back to 17 points at 27-10 with less than a minute left in the third quarter.

As we move into the fourth quarter of play, the Packers face 1st-and-10 from their own 41-yard line.
