Antoine Griezmann scored a brace to lead Atletico Madrid to a 3-1 win over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Wednesday.

This was their third consecutive Champions League win and tenth consecutive across all competitions.

Julian Alvarez made the breakthrough with a superb shot in the 16th minute, before Griezmann extended Atleti’s lead in the 42nd minute by heading in Marcos Llorente’s cross.

Bratislava got back into the game after they were awarded a penalty and David Strelec scored from the spot in the 51st minute, but Griezmann dashed their hopes by completing his brace just six minutes later.

In the other early game, Osame Sahraoui and Mitchel Bakker gave Lille a 2-0 lead over Sturm Graz before half-time. But Otar Kiteishvili scored for the Austrian team in the last shot of the first half and Mika Biereth equalized in the 47th minute.

However, substitute Hakon Arnar Haraldsson fired a shot into the short top corner in the 81st minute, securing the win for Lille.

Later on Wednesday, Borussia Dortmund hosts Barcelona and Manchester City visits Juventus.
