The Memphis Grizzlies got an extra day from suffering a tough 114-110 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. The Grizzlies (20-10) are back in action on Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors.

The Grizzlies are expected to win this game. Toronto (7-23) has the third-worst record in the NBA and has been hit hard by injuries.

Memphis isn’t fully healthy, but several impact players like Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane are available. The Grizzlies are without Marcus Smart (right index finger), Jay Huff (ankle), Vince Williams Jr. (ankle) and GG Jackson.

Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic is the former head assistant under Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins. Rajakovic was instrumental in the development and success of Desmond Bane. After the 2023 season, he left the Grizzlies and moved to the Raptors.

The Grizzlies are in the first leg before traveling to New Orleans for a game on Friday night.
