Happy Gilmore 2 trailer starring Adam Sandler, Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny

The new clip hints at a showdown with former rival Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald

Adam Sandler wishes everyone a “Happy Hanukkah,” “Merry Christmas,” and “Happy Gilmore everyone!” in the new sequel trailer for his 1996 golf comedy Happy Gilmore.

The 30-second spot shows Sandler golfing while wearing Happy Gilmore’s signature Boston Bruins jersey and offers a first look at Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. The clip also features the return of his former rival Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald, hinting at another showdown between the two.

Kelce, who is dating pop superstar Taylor Swift, is one of many high-profile celebrities expected to appear in Have fun with Gilmore 2. “I didn’t even know there was an opening Have fun with Gilmore 2Kelce said previously on his New heights Podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “I’ll be a damn extra… anything you can get away with Happy Gilmorean Adam Sandler film or set – do the math.”

The film will also feature guest appearances from Bad Bunny, Eminem, Kid Cudi, Nick Swardson and Margaret Qualley, while actors Ben Stiller and Modern family Actress Julie Bowen returns.

When appearing on The Dan Patrick Show Earlier this month, Sandler revealed that Eminem stopped by the set and filmed a day’s worth of scenes. “He’s a great guy and he came in and was hilarious. I think we were just hanging out with Eminem for a day and he was just shooting and shooting and being crazy,” Sandler shared. “He said a million things that we could use and a million that we’re glad to have him on tape.”

The new Have fun with Gilmore 2 The trailer was released on Christmas Day, just before Kelce and the Chiefs took on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first-ever NFL game to be streamed on Netflix. Have fun with Gilmore 2which is distributed by the streaming platform Netflix, is scheduled to be released next summer.
