Happy Thanksgiving to Broncos Country and beyond!

Happy Thanksgiving to Broncos Country and beyond!

Good morning, Broncos Country.

It’s a beautiful Thursday morning and also happens to be one of my favorite holidays of the year: Thanksgiving.

It’s a day full of football, family and friends. What can be better? On behalf of Mile High Report, I wish you all a wonderful holiday. Enjoy the day and better yet, I hope you have a long four day weekend where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the entire slate of football games.

As the name of the holiday suggests, it is a day of thanksgiving. And in 2024, there’s a lot to be thankful about when it comes to the Denver Broncos. It’s been a while since many of us have been able to say that. With that in mind, here are a few things that happened related to the franchise that I would like to highlight and thank.

  • The Broncos look better than they have since their Super Bowl 50 season. They’ll be well on their way to making the playoffs if they take care of business in the final five games. How exciting is that?
  • The making of Bo Nix. An 11-game sample size isn’t enough to predict what the future holds for Nix, but I’m grateful to see the rookie quarterback improving every week. He’s looked really good in the last few games and I hope that trend continues. It’s been ages since we’ve seen top-notch quarterbacks play in the Mile High City.
  • Sean Payton and Vance Joseph. I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about whether this duo could turn around the franchise’s hopes. However, based on the results so far, I won’t be interested in doing this anymore. The two of them did a great job. Their overall performance is even more impressive considering how much dead money the team has struggled with in the past and is several seasons behind most teams in terms of early-round draft picks.

How about you, Broncos Country? What team-related tidbits are you grateful for? Sound off in the comments section and let me know!

As always – thanks for reading. Here is today’s series of articles for Horse racing tracks.
