Hard freezing, freezing and overnight freezing

Near record lows as our coldest temperatures yet are expected overnight and early Wednesday morning. The severe frost warning, frost warning and a frost warning are in effect on Wednesday from 10pm to 9am.

A Severe Frost Warning has been issued for inland southeast GA and the Suwannee Valley. Temperatures could reach 28 degrees or lower for 3 hours or more, equivalent to hard freeze conditions in the SE GA and NE FL areas throughout the Interior.

A Freeze Warning will spread across the remainder of SE GA and inland NE FL.

The freeze warning is also in effect for coastal Nassau and Duval counties, as well as areas west of I-95 for St. Johns and Flagler counties.

The warnings and advisories begin Tuesday at 10 p.m. until Wednesday at 9 a.m

Tonight: Clear and colder with a light breeze. Bundle. Wednesday: Severe frost warning, frost warning and frost warning until 9 a.m. Take the time to protect people, pets, plants and these pipes. Clear skies and cold temperatures will start the day with lows in the 20s and 30s for SE GA and 20s, 30s to 40s for NE FL. Sunny skies with less than seasonal afternoon high temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Wind N/SW 5-10 mph.

Temperatures will warm up on Thursday before returning to below average temperatures on Friday and Saturday.
