We’re approaching trade season in the NBA and a star who hasn’t been available for several years could be on the market this winter.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Miami Heat are “open to offers” for Jimmy Butler. The 14-year veteran, who is in his sixth season with the Heat, is averaging 19 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting a career-best 55.7% from the field.

The 35-year-old star has made a difference everywhere he has been, but he is still missing an NBA title. That could be why his agent has reportedly “indicated in league circles that Butler is open to a trade,” even if he won’t just go anywhere. According to Charania, Butler’s preferred destinations are the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors.

Butler is a Houston native and might like to be closer to home, but all three teams he has reportedly listed as trade destinations are very competitive and are currently above the play-in line. The Warriors in particular have gone through some changes recently, with longtime star Draymond Green voluntarily taking on the bench role to allow 22-year-old Jonathan Kuminga more consistent playing time.

Charania also reported that “teams have been informed” that Butler intends to terminate his contract at the end of the current season and become a free agent. He said back in October that he was no longer interested in awards or maximum extensions and that only winning mattered.

“If we’re being completely honest, no matter what I do now, even if I don’t care about the money, nothing is going to make me more money,” Butler said. “I’ve just gotten to the point where I have more than enough money. I’m just here to win.”
