The Miami Heat are less than two years removed from an NBA Finals appearance, but veteran star Jimmy Butler could be in for a change of scenery in the coming months.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the Heat are eyeing trade offers for the six-time All-Star. If the Heat had defeated the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Finals, these rumors wouldn’t exist.

“When players report that they want to move to these teams, it usually doesn’t end that way,” Pierce said on Speak. “If I had to guess…Jimmy Butler would probably be the best fit for the Denver Nuggets.”

“I think they need another guy to help (Nikola Jokic) Joker, but if they can find a way to add Jimmy Butler, I think Jimmy and Joker will win another championship trophy if they can do it. “I have to “Not playing against the Celtics,” Pierce concluded.

Given the lack of production from the Nuggets’ roster outside of Jokic, signing a player of Butler’s caliber would be game-changing.
