That’s the best price we’ve ever seen for a brand new Apple Watch with a warranty. Despite the low price, you don’t actually lose much functionality if you choose an Apple Watch SE. It’s powered by the same S8 processor found in the first-generation Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra. It also features a bright and sharp OLED Retina display, IPX7 water resistance, fall detection, sleep tracking, Apple Pay, almost all fitness tracking features including heart rate monitoring and more. While the $149 model has a smaller 40mm dial, it might actually fit more petite wrists better.

Apple Watch Series 10

The Apple Watch Series 10 is the latest generation mainstream model and is currently $70 off at several retailers including Amazon, Target and Walmart. Pricing starts at $329 for the base model with a 42mm body and GPS and Wi-Fi functionality. Improvements over the Apple Watch Series 9 include a larger OLED Retina display, a new S10 processor that isn’t faster but is thinner, giving the watch itself a slimmer profile, and some new (albeit admittedly trivial) Functions like a level. If you already own an Apple Watch 9, there’s little reason to upgrade here.

Compared to the Apple Watch SE, the Apple Watch Series 10 has a larger display and always-on functionality, a 30% more powerful processor, twice the storage, more advanced fitness tracking and body monitoring sensors, double-tap gesture support, and faster charging. The Series 10 is more expensive than the SE, but I think the upgrades are worth it for most people.

This is the best price we’ve seen for the highest quality and most robust Apple Watch in their range. Thanks to its durability, features and apps, it is definitely the best watch in the range for anyone who likes to be outside.

The Apple Watch Ultra features a titanium casing that is sturdier and more corrosion-resistant than the softer aluminum or stainless steel casings of cheaper Apple Watches. Pure titanium metal (not metal “coated” with titanium) is significantly more expensive and is probably one of the main reasons why the Apple Watch Ultra is so much more expensive. The size of the case is also larger at 49mm (compared to 41mm to 45mm on the Series 8), so it feels more premium.

Can you use an Apple Watch with Android phones?

Although it’s technically possible to use an Apple Watch with an Android phone, we wouldn’t recommend it. Apple has designed it so that many functions of the Apple Watch require a smartphone with an iOS operating system. There are some workarounds to implement some of the features, but for the average person it’s not worth the effort. If you really want to buy an Apple Watch, getting an iPhone would be the best option. For those of you who are happy with your Android smartphone, there are many Android smartwatches that are a better fit than the Apple Watch.
