The Dancing with the stars The semi-finals are just around the corner. With the anticipated finale just a week away, here’s everything you need to know about the semifinals, including the songs and dances each couple will perform.

Last week, Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach were eliminated at the end of the dance competition’s 500th episode. When asked by co-host Julianne Hough about his experience on the show, the basketball star replied: “I had an incredible experience. Daniella is a great partner. I’m glad she was there for me. The show meant so much.”

The semifinals begin with a performance of Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night,” choreographed by Sasha Farber and Ezra Sosa. Fans can also look forward to a special rendition of Tate McRae’s “Greedy (Acoustic),” choreographed by Mandy Moore and featuring professional dancers DWTS LIVE 2025 Tour.

Only five couples remain in the competition: Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold. In the semifinals, each couple performs a ballroom dance and a Latin dance with styles such as Viennese waltz, foxtrot, tango, salsa and paso doble.

  • Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola and professional Witney Carson will perform a Viennese waltz to “Gravity” by John Mayer and a salsa to “I Like It” by Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
  • “The Bachelor” Joey Graziadei and professional Jenna Johnson will perform a foxtrot to “I Won’t Dance” by Erin Boheme featuring District 78 and a paso doble to “Come Together” by Lennon & McCartney.
  • TV star Chandler Kinney and professional Brandon Armstrong will perform a foxtrot to “Too Sweet” by Hozier and a salsa to Spicy Margarita by Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé.
  • Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher and professional Alan Bersten will perform a Viennese Waltz to “Golden Hour” by JVKE and a Paso Doble to “Unholy (Orchestral Version)” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras.
  • Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and professional Rylee Arnold will perform a tango to “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap and a cha cha to “Bailar” by Deorro with Elvis Crespo.

In the Dancing with the stars One couple is usually eliminated in the semifinals, but it is possible for all five celebrities to advance to the final. This happened last season when the semifinals surprisingly turned into a non-elimination round, allowing Alyson Hannigan, Charity Lawson, Ariana Madix, Jason Mraz and eventual winner Xochitl Gomez to compete in the finals.
