The 82nd Golden Globes kick off the 2025 awards season this weekend! Hollywood’s party of the year will be hosted by Nikki Glaser (who is also nominated). This year, Viola Davis will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Ted Danson will receive the Carol Burnett Award. Emilia Perez And The bear will dominate the evening with the most nominations. EvilThe substance And challenger will all be competing in the Best Musical or Best Comedy category, and Selena Gomez is nominated for her work in Best Musical or Best Comedy across categories and for both film and television Emilia Perez And Only murders in the building, respectively.

Adam Brody, Ariana Grande, Dakota Fanning, Glen Powell, Kathryn Hahn, Pamela Anderson and Zoe Saldaña are all nominated for the first time this year. The Golden Globe Awards take place this Sunday, January 5, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.

The 82nd Golden Globes will not only air on CBS, but also live on Paramount+ with Showtime. Note that regular, ad-supported Paramount+ subscribers will not be able to watch the ceremony live, but will be able to stream it on-demand the next day.

Comedian and TV host Nikki Glaser will host the 2025 Golden Globes, becoming the first woman to host the ceremony alone. Glaser made headlines last year with her outstanding performance The Roast of Tom Brady. She is also nominated at this year’s awards for her latest stand-up special.
