Now, 28 years later, Homer will have the chance to make that dream come true – so to speak. He and his son Bart will be part of a special “Monday Night Football“Tonight the Cowboys vs. Cincinnati Bengals game will air.

ESPN, the “MNF“brings”The Simpsons” with a thematic alternative program. This follows the station’s success last year with a “Toy Story“-themed program for”MNF.”

How to watch The Simpsons Monday Night Football broadcast.

The alternate broadcast will stream on ESPN+ and Disney+ and will be available on NFL+ via mobile devices. It will feature Bart representing the Bengals and Homer representing the Cowboys in an animated version of the game.

According to a press release from Disney, fans can expect to see the action come to life in animation.

“Each Bengals and Cowboys player will appear as a motion-activated, animated player for the special primetime matchup,” the press release states.
