After a convincing 67-41 win over Providence on Sunday, the UConn women’s basketball team hopes to improve to 3-0 in Big East Conference play against Marquette Wednesday.

With 23 points, UConn’s Paige Bueckers led all scorers in Sunday’s game against Providence. UConn’s Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd contributed 14 and eight points, respectively, in the contest.

The win against Providence was a step in the right direction for UConn, as they had lost their previous game against Southern California 70-72. UConn is now 11-2 overall and 2-0 in Big East Conference play.
