Holiday mocktails for those who are dry at Christmas or New Year

If you’re following the trend of staying dry during the holidays this year, Hilary Sheinbaum, author of The Dry Challenge, has you covered.

Sheinbaum took part in “Good Morning America” ​​on Saturday and shared a few festive soft drink recipes just in time for the holidays.

French ’89

Ingredients
1 ounce non-alcoholic gin
1/4 ounce simple syrup
1/4 ounce lemon juice
3 ounces non-alcoholic sparkling wine (previously chilled)
Lemon zest for garnish

Procedure:
Add all ingredients to the glass. attention.
Add garnish (lemon peel).

Virgin Paloma

Ingredients
1.5 ounces non-alcoholic gin
4.5 ounces grapefruit soda
0.25 ounces lime juice
Grapefruit wedge for garnish
Ice

Procedure:
Add all ingredients to the glass. attention.
Pour over ice.
Add garnish (grapefruit wedge).

Hilary’s Non-Alc Spicy Marg

Ingredients
3 ounces pineapple juice
1 ounce margarita mix (1 ounce mix of 1/3 grapefruit juice, 1/3 lime juice, 1/3 orange juice + a drop of simple syrup)
2 ounces peach sparkling water (or regular sparkling water)
Chili salt (optional for the edge)
Lime for garnish

Procedure:
Dip the glass in a shallow bowl of pineapple juice and then again in the chili salt to form the rim of the glass.
Add pineapple, margarita mix and a pinch of chili salt to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake until shaker feels cool, about 10 seconds.
Strain into a glass with ice.
Top with peach sparkling water (or sparkling water).
Add garnish (lime wedge).
