Horrifying images show maniac burning woman on New York subway as he watched her burn before telling police he didn’t remember it: sources

Horrifying new photos show the gruesome scene inside a Brooklyn subway car where an illegal Guatemalan immigrant allegedly set a sleeping woman on fire and then calmly watched as she burned – later telling police he had no memory of the cruel murder.

Surveillance images captured by MTA cameras in the F car allegedly show Sebastian Zapeta-Calil standing in the mostly empty F car, his hands in his hood pockets as flames engulf the woman.

He later told police he had no memory of the gruesome murder.

The alleged victim, who was on the train at the time of the arson, appeared to need a walking aid – the mobility device is clearly visible in the horrifying photos.

A new video of the monstrous murder also appears to show Zapeta-Calil trying to fan the flames with a T-shirt or similar item of clothing as the flames rose to the roof of the subway car.

The suspect was arrested a short time later on another subway — with a lighter in his pocket — and while a clear motive has not yet been determined, sources tell The Post.

Zapeta-Calil later told investigators he was drunk and didn’t remember setting anyone on fire.
