Host, musical guest, cast, how to watch the December 14th show

Early ’90s “Saturday Night Live” cast member Chris Rock will return this weekend to host the ninth episode of the long-running comedy show’s 50th season.

It is the actor and comedian’s fourth appearance as host of the show. According to NBC, Rock, 59, was a cast member from 1990 to 1993.

Last Saturday, “Gladiator II” star Paul Mescal hosted the show for the first time. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” singer Shaboozey served as the musical guest on SNL over the weekend. The performance also marked the singer’s debut on the show.

During the show intro last week, Dana Carvey’s “Church Lady” returned with David Spade in the role of Hunter Biden.

“The Secret of Us” album singer Gracie Abrams will make her debut as the show’s musical guest on December 14th.

Last weekend, Abrams opened the show for the final three nights of superstar Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada.

How to watch “SNL” on December 14th?

The December 14 episode of “SNL” will air live on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.
