Hot off the press! The Android version of the Google News app is getting a new look

The app has various tabs including For you Top stories are displayed here, some local and based on your location, others selected based on analysis of the stories you read, your search topics, and the websites you visit. This leads me to numerous stories about the cell phone industry (some of which I have written myself), sports news, the Beatles, and medical shows like House MD

The Headlines The tab shows you headlines, and tabs at the top of the display allow you to view the latest headlines or headlines from various categories, including US headlines, world headlines and the top stories in business, technology, entertainment, sports, science and health. As I write this on Sunday evening, the big story revolves around these mysterious drones circling people in the northeastern United States, particularly New Jersey. Google just made changes to its Google Maps app for iOS and Android, and now it’s making some changes to the Google News app, including revisions to the bottom bar to make the app feel less crowded. To do this, do the above For you And Headlines Tabs are grouped into a tab named Home. The Below And Newsstand The tabs remain unchanged.
The update appears for the Google News app version 5.120.x for Android. The app’s revamped interface has yet to be released for iOS. However, the new look of the Google News app appears on mine Pixel 6 Pro is running Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1.

You may already have numerous messaging apps installed on your device. Even if your phone is overwhelmed with news apps, why not try the Google News app? Since no in-app payments are required, it is a free app. You can uninstall it at any time if you don’t like it.
