How Auburn basketball prepares for Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium

AUBURN – Auburn basketball’s recent success has made Neville Arena one of the better basketball venues in the SEC.

But on Wednesday, the second-place Tigers will leave the confines of their home-field advantage to play in a venue unlike any other: Duke’s 9,300-seat Cameron Indoor Stadium, which Bruce Pearl said will be “the toughest environment” Auburn will play in this season.

“We get the opportunity to compete in one of the toughest environments against one of the best teams in the country,” Pearl said Monday. “When you talk about Auburn and Duke, both teams are really good this year, but one thing we have in common is we both play in very intimidating places. Cameron Indoor Stadium is probably the most famous home-field advantage in college basketball, and Neville Arena has certainly become that.”
