The story of how Jelly Rolly and Bunnie XO met

Bunnie XO And Jellyroll‘s love story began in Las Vegas.

As she continued to remember Bussin’ with the boysmet her the singer in August 2015 while performing at the Las Vegas Country Club. This was before Jelly Roll became famous. He was living in a van at the time and estimated there were about 20 people at the fair.

Instead, their spark took center stage.

“When I met him, I told everyone it was total cliche shit, but literally in my soul I was like, ‘There you are,'” Bunnie said on the podcast in 2023. “And “He’s not my type.” I’m not his type Taylor Swift. That’s his type.”

However, a romance didn’t happen immediately. Bunnie was in an unhealthy relationship, she continued, and Jelly Roll was doing his own thing. But in October 2015, they got back together. And as Bunnie put it, she was “just blown away.”

After her ex went to prison, she told a friend to give Jelly Roll her phone number, she added. Bunnie said the musician would call and text her asking for advice about his daughter Custodian from a previous relationship.

However, Bunnie noticed that her bond with Jelly Roll changed from platonic to romantic in July 2016 when he returned to Vegas to film some videos and they slept together.

“We’re like drunken drunks,” she recalled. “I’m trying to get it up, get it in, put it on and get it out, and this guy said, ‘What’s your five-year plan?'”

So they discussed their goals and Bunnie remembered Jelly Roll saying, “Okay, cool. Let’s do it.”
