Has Countryman Has it been renewed for season 2?

The series hasn’t received an official renewal yet, but a second season seems to be a foregone conclusion. The show has been well received by both critics and audiences, and Paramount isn’t necessarily into turning down Taylor Sheridan shows. Countryman Star Demi Moore apparently confirmed a second season during promotion The substance in May 2024.

“I’ve already finished the first season and I’m looking forward to us starting the second, which will take place early next year,” Moore said during a talk at the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival.
