How many NFL games are on Christmas this year?

For the fourth year in a row, multiple NFL games will be played on Christmas this season. After three Christmas games each of the last two seasons, how many NFL games are on Christmas this year?

The league has reduced its holiday list in 2024 because Christmas falls on a Wednesday. Only two games will take place on December 25th, pitting four AFC playoff teams against each other.

First, the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Acrisure Stadium to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Later this afternoon, the Houston Texans host the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of last year’s divisional round game.

In the first year of Netflix’s three-year partnership with the NFL, the streaming giant will host the league’s two Christmas games in 2024.

How many NFL games are on Christmas?

There are two games at Christmas this year:

The first is a clash between the Chiefs and Steelers in Pittsburgh, starting at 1pm ET on Netflix. Both teams have already secured the playoff places and only have to fight for the seedings in the last few weeks.

After the conclusion of Game 1, the Texans and Ravens will kick off in Houston at 4:30 p.m. ET. Houston has already won its division, but Baltimore is still in the hunt for its second straight AFC North title.

Netflix will stream both games of the doubleheader live on Christmas.

NFL fans in the United States outside of competing teams’ markets will need to log in to their Netflix account – or subscribe to the streaming service – to watch. Both matchups are available with any Netflix plan.

The NFL will also stream the games on mobile devices via its premium subscription service NFL+.
