With less than 12 hours until 2025 begins, celebrities are reflecting on their rollercoaster 2024.

It’s been a year with a presidential election, a “Brat” summer, almost daily lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs, a rap dispute between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, the (again) demise of Bennifer 2.0 and much more that we’ll probably see on January 1st January will be forgotten.

But beyond the headlines and online discourse, celebrities lived their lives offline and reflected on New Year’s Eve.

Ariana Grande Shares Rare Photo of ‘Wicked’ Co-Star Ethan Slater

The “Wicked” star used New Year’s Eve to look back on a “year full of art and heart.”

Sharing a series of photos of herself at Disneyland, in the studio, on the set of “Wicked” and more, Grande thanked fans for their support in 2024. “Thank you forever for your love and support, words are truly not enough.” I love you always and wish you all a happy new year!” she wrote in the caption.

Grande also managed to throw in a photo of her and her rumored boyfriend Ethan Slater. He’s seen in a black-and-white selfie with her “Wicked” co-star Jeff Goldblum.

Grande’s brother Frankie Grande commented under his sister’s post, celebrating her “beautiful, beautiful, incredible year.”

He added: “I am so happy to have made so many beautiful memories together and to see you shine your light to the whole world in the most brilliant way. I love you so much. Happy New Year, Ari.”

Céline Dion would like to thank the fans for their support

The French singer doesn’t take fans’ “unwavering support” for granted.

“As we complete another year together, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support,” Dion wrote on Instagram. “Your love and energy inspire me every day. I wish you all a happy holiday full of warmth, laughter and precious moments with your loved ones.”

This year, the 56-year-old returned to the stage for the first time since announcing her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022.

Dion concluded: “Here’s to endless possibilities in the year ahead. I wish you a happy holiday and a fantastic New Year!”

Mark Ruffalo reflects on a “tough” 2024

The “Avengers” actor shared a photo of himself on Tuesday lounging shirtless on a white couch and reflecting on the year he’s had.

“2024 was tough, there’s no getting around it,” Ruffalo captioned his Instagram post. “As we move into 2025, let us lean on community, kindness and hope – and remember that calm is necessary as we move forward.”

He concluded: “Here’s to better days and looking after each other. Happy New Year, friends. ✨“

Mindy Kaling shares snippets from her “fun and sometimes stressful” year

The former “Office” star shared an Instagram reel with video snippets from every month of the year, including a never-before-seen photo of her baby bump. (In June, Kaling announced that she had given birth to her third child after keeping her pregnancy a secret.)

“Bye 2024! “Were you guys so fun and stressful at times?” the creator of “The Sex Lives of College Girls” wrote in the caption. “But I learned SO MUCH and it was the last time I had to use that Medela pump on a plane!”

Millie Bobby Brown remembers her wedding in 2024

The Stranger Things actress kept her thoughts on 2024 short and sweet on Instagram, simply writing, “The year of Ms. Bongiovi 🤍.”

Brown, who quietly married Jake Bongiovi in Italy earlier this year, shared an Instagram Reel with various snippets from a whirlwind year that included her many travels, dancing and singing lessons with friends and rare footage from her wedding.

Rebel Wilson is ‘pumped to bring about 2025’

The “Senior Year” actress is ready for what 2025 has in store.

“So excited for 2025! 🎆 What a year 2024 was! I married my beautiful Disney princess, my little girl is already a little lady, my memoir REBEL RISING was a New York Times bestseller, the film I directed “A huge gala premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and I got to go on some great adventures around the world with friends,” Wilson captioned her post, which included two photos with wife Ramona Agruma and their daughter Royce Lillian, born in 2022.

Aside from the highs of 2024, Wilson also reflected on the valleys the year brought, including “some heartache this year” and “some struggles.”

Although she didn’t elaborate, Wilson also apparently referenced the bullying and gaslighting allegations she made against Sacha Baron Cohen in her memoir. She wrote in her caption on Tuesday: “It’s madness when crisis PR teams pump absolute nonsense into their clients’ plans and it’s no fun but the cream always rises to the top!”

Jessica Alba looks back on a year full of connections

The actress and entrepreneur feels grateful for the year 2024.

Alba also referenced the Chinese lunar calendar and expressed her excitement for the Year of the Wood Snake, which begins on January 29, 2025 and ends on February 16, 2026.

“The Year of the Snake teaches us profound self-improvement, encouraging growth from within and expanding our consciousness,” Alba shared in her Instagram caption. “It reminds us that it allows us to become better versions of ourselves, gain greater flexibility, reduce rigidity and embrace change.”
