How to stream Warriors vs. Rockets

The Golden State Warriors begin their back-to-back home opener by hosting the Houston Rockets on Thursday night. The game will be played in San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. PT and can be watched on NBA TV and NBC Sports Bay Area.

Previously with the Warriors:

Golden State lost Tuesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets 119-115. They extended their current losing streak to five games and fell to sixth place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 12-8.

The Warriors defense had no answer for Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. The three-time league MVP posted monster stats of 38 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, five steals and one block. Kevon Looney, starting center for the Warriors, made a valiant effort against Jokic but was fouled late in the fourth quarter as the Nuggets gained momentum and secured the win with an 11-0 run to end the game.

What to watch out for tonight:

The Warriors are severely shorthanded in the first game of their meeting with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green both out. Curry continues to battle bilateral knee pain that sidelined him for one game last week, while Green missed his second straight game with left calf tightness. To add to the uncertainty, starting small forward Andrew Wiggins is listed as questionable with a right ankle injury.

The Rockets have now developed into one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season. Houston has won three of its last four games and sits in second place overall with a record of 15-7.

Under head coach Ime Udoka, the Rockets have made defense their identity. They have the second-best defensive rating in the league (105.3) and lead the NBA with 50.1 rebounds per game – an area where a smaller Warriors squad might struggle to keep up.

Golden State will have to rely heavily on its strength to end its five-game losing streak and pick up a win in this challenging Western Conference game.

Have fun with the game Dub Nation. GO WARRIOR!!!
