Eva Hudson, who just won the AVCA Midwest Region Player of the Year Award, will lead the Boilermakers to the Sweet 16 to face Louisville. The team will travel to Louisville for this game, so definitely in enemy territory. But I’m sure coach Shondell has the team ready.

As a reminder, Purdue defeated its first two opponents in this year’s NCAA Tournament. Coach Shondell is still waiting for the elusive Final Four. He had great success in the NCAA tournament, but still couldn’t reach the next pinnacle. Shondell is one of the biggest Purdue fans ever and can often be seen on the sidelines cheering on other Purdue teams. He saw Matt Painter break through to the Final Four in 2024, and maybe now it’s his turn? Purdue will need outstanding performances not only from Hudson, but also from Raven Colvin, Chloe Chicoine and Ali Hornung, among others.
