Seeking their third national championship in four years, the Ferris State Bulldogs (13-1) face the Valdosta State Blazers (13-0), seeking their fifth overall title.

The Bulldogs and Blazers have history in the national championship game with two previous meetings in 2018 and 2021. Ferris State defeated Valdosta State 58-17 in 2021, but the Blazers fell to the Bulldogs 49-47 in 2018. This year the two programs are ready for a rubber match.
