MCKINNEY, Texas – Ferris State University Bulldog fans are ready for a possible third NCAA Division II football championship in four years when they take on the Valdosta State University Blazers on Saturday.

Seeking their third national championship in four years, the Ferris State Bulldogs (13-1) face the Valdosta State Blazers (13-0), seeking their fifth overall title.

The Bulldogs and Blazers have history in the national championship game with two previous meetings in 2018 and 2021. Ferris State defeated Valdosta State 58-17 in 2021, but the Blazers fell to the Bulldogs 49-47 in 2018. This year the two programs are ready for a rubber match.

The NCAA Division II Football Championship will take place on Saturday, December 21st at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas. Kickoff is at 2:00 p.m. ET.
