“New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” is a traditional broadcast from several locations, including New York, where the legendary ball drop takes place in Times Square. This year it includes performances from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Lenny Kravitz and TLC.

“New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” is another viewing option for people celebrating at home. The special airs on CBS starting at 8 p.m. and features appearances from Kane Brown and Jelly Roll.

Who is hosting New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2025?

Longtime presenter Ryan Seacrest will share hosting duties with British pop star Rita Ora. Co-host is Dayanara Torres from Puerto Rico.

This is Seacrest’s 20th year hosting the ABC Christmas special. His other on-screen roles include hosting “Wheel of Fortune” — after replacing Pat Sajak in September — and “American Idol.”

The “Pocketful of Sunshine” singer will perform from the West Coast.

Rapp will be part of the West Coast contingent of the show.

Ellis-Bextor will bring her viral 2001 hit “Murder on the Dancefloor” to the Manhattan stage.

Grammy-nominated Swims is part of this year’s New Year’s Eve lineup.
