Season 3 of The sex lives of college girls finally came to the 2024 TV schedule in November and brought with it many changes. It was no secret that this season would mark the end of Reneé Rapp’s tenure on the show, but it was still incredibly emotional to see her say goodbye to the girls who became her best friends.

Leighton was my favorite character, so to say I miss her is an understatement. Thankfully, the show made up for its loss by introducing viewers to some new cast members and giving supporting actors more prominent roles. This definitely worked for me as I grew to love Lila (Ilia Isorely), one of the supporting characters that has been around since Season 1.

Lila began the show as Kimberly’s (Pauline Chalamet) colleague/manager at Sips, the college’s cafe. In the first season, she acts as something of a confidant to Kimberly, who is having the hardest time adjusting to college life. Little by little, Kimberly introduced Lila to her roommates and everyone began to support and encourage each other. In the second season, her character began to become more fleshed out. Now that Leighton is leaving Essex for a spot at MIT, there’s more time left and fans are getting to know Lila even better.
