On Tuesday evening, major streaming platform Hulu suffered a huge setback when thousands of users reported that they were unable to log into their accounts. The complaints also reported that ESPN+, another Disney-owned streaming platform, was also not working for many users. Questions like “Why can’t I sign up for Hulu?” and “Is Hulu down right now?” filled social media platforms and search engines.

This obviously led to huge outrage on social media platforms like X, where users flocked to complain about Hulu not working. Additionally, many users on social media reported that the company and its support did not respond to concerned users.

User @Midwest_Midwit summed up the feeling many users were going through, saying:

“I can’t access Hulu to watch Gilmore Girls with my wife! The only time I find a little peace and comfort in this stressful, miserable world! I’m about to lose it!”

It is indeed true that many viewers today depend solely on streaming platforms to enjoy their share of entertainment and escapism, and such issues have a huge impact on their daily lives, as evident from social media posts everywhere on X, which had hordes of viewers asking, “Is Hulu down?”

“Hey, I pay a lot of money every month so that you don’t work.” – said another user.

“@hulu_support your entire platform is down AGAIN and y’all don’t even have the decency to post a message to let people know you’re working on it…” another user said.

“So glad I can run to Twitter when I have a problem. I literally thought my Hvlu had been hacked. But there are actually problems right now. 😭-,” another user added.

“I’m so over Hulu. This is the fifth time I’ve been logged out (mysteriously), and when I try to log back in I either get errors or “I don’t recognize your email address” (which hasn’t changed); and MYSTERIOUS when you try to call – busy signal – chat 🙄” – said another user.

The streaming service finally responded to some of the tweets. One such answer was:

“Hello – sorry for the late reply! We are pleased to announce that the behavior affecting Hulu login has now been fully resolved. To get smooth streaming again, simply restart your device. Thank you for your patience!” “

The problems have now reportedly been resolved.

According to recent reports, all issues with the platform have been completely resolved and users can now access it. The specific reason why the streaming service was not working was not disclosed by the company and it is likely that it was simply a technical glitch in the system that caused Hulu to not work.
