Inactive Fantasy Football Week 17: Who’s in and who’s out?

Who should you start with? Who should you sit on? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid using an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists . All rankings cited in this column come from our ESPN Fantasy staff.

Official Sunday inactives should arrive approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for late afternoon games.

Update regularly to get the latest information.

Play at 1 p.m. ET

Chuba Hubbard, RB, CAR: Knee — OUT/IR
Impact: Either Raheem Blackshear or Mike Boone (or a combination of both) will look to fill the gap.

Xavier Legette, WR, CAR: Hip — Active
Impact: The current plan is for him to play, but Adam Thielen is still the team’s best WR option.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, DAL: shoulder — OUT/IR
Impact: He will miss the final two games of the season. If you’re not in a goalie league, let him go.

Jalen Brooks, WR, DAL: Knee — Active
Impact: He should complete a portion of the goals that would normally be left for Lamb…

Jalen Tolbert, WR, DAL: fingers — Active
Impact: … just like Tolbert. Brandin Cooks will be the team’s No. 1 WR option.

Anthony Richardson, QB, IND: Back — OUT OF
Impact: Could Joe Flacco lead the Colts to the playoffs? Stranger things have happened.

Derek Carr, QB, NO: hand — OUT OF
Impact: Spencer Rattler will start in place of Carr.

Alvin Kamara, RB, NO: groin area – OUT OF
Impact: Kamara could also miss next week. Kendre Miller should lead an RB committee.

Chris Olave, WR, NO: Head — OUT OF
Impact: Even though he practiced earlier in the week, there was little reason for the Saints to play him on Sunday.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, NO: Breast — Active
Impact: With Olave sitting, MVS becomes the Saints’ WR MVP for Week 17.

Malik Nabers, WR, NYG: toe — Active
Impact: All signs point to a typical promotional Sunday for Nabers.

Davante Adams, WR, NYJ: Hip — Active
Impact: Adams has nothing but pride left, but the fact that he practiced at all this week suggests he will play on Sunday.

Jalen Hurts, QB, PHI: concussion — OUT OF
Impact: Kenny Pickett is dealing with some sore ribs but will start in place of Hurts.

Cade Otton, TE, TB: Knee — OUT OF
Impact: My prediction? Payne (as in Payne Durham, who will start in Otton’s place).

Sterling Shepard, WR, TB: Hamstring – OUT OF
Impact: There’s no reason to figure out who gets the remaining targets after Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan are fed up.

Nick Folk, K, TEN: Belly — OUT OF
Impact: Matthew Wright will take his place.

Tony Pollard, RB, TEN: Ankle — OUT OF
Impact: It will be Tyjae Spears in the Tennessee backfield early and often.

Tyler Boyd, WR, TEN: Foot — Active
Impact: Even though it looks like he’s playing, there’s little reason to trust him for fantasy purposes.

4 p.m. ET games

Jameis Winston, QB, CLE: shoulder — Questionable
Impact: Unless Dorian Thompson-Robinson gets injured, don’t expect to see Winston this week or next.

David Njoku, TE, CLE: Knee — OUT OF
Impact: With no practice time this week, Njoku will sit and Jordan Akins will start.

Cedric Tillman, WR, CLE: concussion — OUT OF
Impact: Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore will be the main WR options this week.

Christian Watson, WR, GB: Knee — Questionable
Impact: While there is still an outside chance that Watson can leave, Dontayvion Wicks is the more likely No. 3 WR for the Packers this week.

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, MIA: Hip — Doubtful
Impact: It’s a compelling win situation for Miami, but Tyler Huntley could be the guy taking snaps under center.

Tyreek Hill, WR, MIA: Wrist — Questionable
Impact: He’s been playing through this injury for some time. Expect him to start.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, MIA: Knee — Questionable
Impact: There is some optimism he can play, but it looks like it will be an in-game decision.

Game on Sunday evening

Dyami Brown, WR, WAR: Hamstring – OUT OF
Effect: All hail the “great and powerful Oz,” also known as Olamide Zaccheaus.
