India vs Australia 5th Test Day 1 Live Updates: KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal could not withstand the pressure from Australian pacers and lost their wickets early on the first day of the 5th Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday. Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland picked the first two wickets for Australia while Virat Kohli secured an early lifeline. India’s full-time captain Rohit Sharma sat out the fifth and final Test against Australia as stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah decided to bat first in Sydney on Friday. India made two changes in the team: Shubman Gill replaced Rohit and Prasidh Krishan came into the team in place of the injured Akash Deep. (Live scorecard)
