For the same game, big man Robert Williams was ruled out due to a left ankle sprain Trailblazer (Twitter link). Williams was questionable this afternoon, so his recent injury doesn’t appear to be a concern.

Here are some more injury reports from across the NBA:

  • A Hair clippers A source tells Law Murray of The Athletic Kawhi Leonard (right knee) will not play for Friday’s contest against Golden State (Twitter link). Murray predicted last week that Leonard, who has completed contact drills and was recently on a three-game road trip, would play on Friday but that his season debut would be delayed by at least one more game.
  • Although they won’t have Leonard back yet, the Hair clippers received some good injury news last week when Derrick Jones Murray has returned early after straining his right hamstring, writes Murray for The Athletic. The 27-year-old forward made an immediate impact against his former team, helping Los Angeles defeat Dallas on Thursday. “Derrick was a big part of our success last year“Mavs head coach Jason Kidd said. “He was the last person to sign with us… he made us a bit more athletic. He could guard one through five. He shot the three well for us. And he is a professional. He comes to work every day to do his job. We are happy about his new contract. Unfortunately, he is on the other side. But the Clippers have a professional.”
  • The heat were shorthanded on Monday against Brooklyn, with Jimmy Butler (stomach illness) missed his second straight game and Josh Richardson (right heel inflammation) missed his fifth goal, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Terry Rozier was a late addition to Monday’s injury report after he sustained inflammation in his left knee, his first absence with that injury, Chiang adds.
  • Forward Dean Wade experienced some soreness after making knee-to-knee contact in Saturday’s contest against Philadelphia and the United States Cavaliers According to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, he decided to be cautious and keep him out of Monday’s contest against Utah.
