Injury report: Only one player is out for Michigan against Alabama

The Michigan Wolverines will end their 2024 season with a Rose Bowl rematch against Alabama on New Year’s Eve. The Wolverines will be without star players such as Mason Graham, Colston Loveland, Will Johnson and Kenneth Grant, all of whom have declared for the NFL Draft, as well as Donovan Edwards and Kalel Mullings, among others.

With the Wolverines already shorthanded, the injury report provided some much-needed relief before this game. Here is the final injury report of the 2024 season:

Out of

Questionable

  • OL Jeff Persi
  • WR Amorion Walker
  • S Jaden Mangham

The only player unavailable for this game is tight end Brady Prieskorn, who was injured during warmups before the Ohio State game. Hopefully he’s well and ready for the 2025 season, but initial reports made it seem like a semi-serious injury.

Elsewhere, wideout Amorion Walker and safety Jaden Mangham — who were both listed as out for the OSU game — are finally healthy enough to potentially try out against Alabama today. Offensive lineman Jeff Persi also appears to be healthy enough to play in this game, considering he was listed as the starter at left tackle on the unofficial depth chart for the bowl game.

Michigan vs. Alabama begins at noon on ESPN.
