After leaving Real Madrid last summer, Nico Paz has established himself as one of Serie A’s most promising talents with Como.

His skills shone in his first few games with the Italian promotion team and his influence goes beyond the statistics.

The two goals and four assists in his first 15 appearances only partially reflect his influence on Cesc Fabregas’ side and the quality he has shown.

At 20 years old, the Argentine prodigy’s future looks bright and his name is already on the radar of Europe’s top clubs.

Inter Milan interested

According to AS, reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan have actually shown interest in Nico Paz, for whom Real Madrid have a buyout clause.

The Nerazzurris Vice President Javier Zanetti was present at Como’s recent game against AS Roma and watched the 20-year-old playmaker in action.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi also praised the versatile attacking midfielder:

“He has quality, a good physique and a great foot. He will have a fantastic career. I don’t know him, but I’ve heard great things about him, even on a personal level.”

Inter Milan is looking for young talent to add to its squad and Paz fits the bill perfectly.

The youngster’s future will also depend on Real Madrid. The Spanish club has a buyback option for the Argentine. And if they don’t make use of it, Inter will not hesitate to act.

The presence of Lautaro Martinez, with whom Nico shared the Argentina national team dressing room, could be a deciding factor if Inter decide to respond concretely to his interest.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, have been closely monitoring Nico Paz’s development at Como, although as things stand there appears to be no plan to bring him back.
