Inter Milan’s president hopes Supercoppa Italiana will be a “successful promotion” in Saudi Arabia

Inter Milan president Beppe Marotta hopes the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia will prove to be a “winning advertisement”.

The Nerazzurri president spoke ahead of today’s semi-final clash against Atalanta via FCInterNews.

Inter will face Atalanta in the semi-finals of the Supercoppa Italiana today.

The Nerazzurri have a chance to win their first piece of silverware of the 2024-25 season with the Supercoppa.

Inter have won the competition in each of the last three seasons. As a result, they have beaten the likes of Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Napoli along the way.

This is now the second season in a row that the Supercoppa is a four-team mini-tournament.

It is now the second season in which the competition took place not in Italy but in Saudi Arabia.

Inter president Marotta hopes that Supercoppa Italiana will be a “successful advertisement”.

“On my own behalf and on behalf of the club I represent, I must express my gratitude to the ambassador for the hospitality shown to us,” Marotta said of Inter’s stay in Saudi Arabia.
