Each episode is a deep dive into a different aspect of SNL – from auditions to the writers’ room and more. All four episodes will premiere on January 16th.

Questloves 50 years of SNL music documentary

To keep the celebration going, NBC will air the documentary Ladies and gentlemen… 50 years of SNL music, Co-directed by Oz Rodriguez and The Roots drummer, Tonight’s show Bandleader and Oscar-winning filmmaker Questlove. The three-hour special promises “untold stories behind the culture-defining, groundbreaking and headline-grabbing musical performances, skits and cameos of the last 50 years.” The film premieres January 27 on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
