thing and raise a family in it. OH, HEY, A LITTLE SNOW IN THE COMMENT. A LITTLE SNOW WOULD BE REALLY NICE ANYWHERE. And really, the key here is a little bit of what we’re coming in here tomorrow night. YOU SEE THIS ENERGY DEVELOPING TOWARDS THE CHICAGO SYSTEM, DEVELOPING DOWN FROM THE CAROLINAS. EVERYTHING WILL WORK LIKE THIS. But it’s too far from the coast to really give us a significant amount of snow. We’ll just be on the western edge of the whole thing. So you see this energy diving south. THEN THIS STORM TAKES OVER AND GETS BIGGER. But see how it moves most of its moisture back in that direction. BUT THE REAL HEAVY STUFF IS ONLY OFFSHORE. THAT’S WHERE ALL THE MOISTURE WILL BE. And by the way, the temperatures on this thing are going to be really low to stop the snow, and the temperatures are going to be really cold and really cold after that. If there is some moisture over the weekend, that would be a guarantee of snow. BUT THERE WILL BE NO HUMIDITY THIS WEEKEND. JUST A LOT OF COLD AIR COMES IN HERE. In fact, it’s so cold that as the cold air passes through it picks up moisture from the sea and you see those streamers you see there are sea effect snow over the sea. IF THE SNOWFALLS ARE TOMORROW TOMORROW, TOMORROW 2.5 INCHES TOTAL, PARTICULAR NEAR THE COAST, WE COULD GET SOME AREAS WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES. There is a possibility that there may be one or two spots that may be up to three inches in size, but that would be the maximum for this spot. We just can’t get the cold and the humidity to come together in time. So tomorrow, as the day goes on, you’re going to see that marine beautification, that breeze that’s blowing the water away and bringing enough moisture inland that we might get a few splashes or a few gusts of wind. This would be the case from morning to early afternoon. Once we arrived late afternoon. NOW the moisture is starting to penetrate so it may snow a little. But where the snow is going to be is really where it’s cold enough for it, and where it’s cold there’s not as much moisture. Where we have the most moisture, it will be warm enough that it will come in the form of some rain. So this will be with us directly during the evening drive. BUT I WOULD SAY IT’S COMPLETE AT SEVEN 8:00. IT’S GONE FOR SURE BY 10:00 AM. It’s out of here. And then the cold air is still flowing in here on Saturday, squeezing just enough moisture out of the atmosphere. There may be a passing shower or two, but the real thing is this: you’ll notice it’s cold, and the cold will really settle in. By the way, as we head toward Sunday’s forecast, we’re wondering: How much liquid content are we talking about tomorrow? A tenth, 2/10? I mean, if everything fell as snow, that could mean five centimeters of snow. IF YOU ARE OVER THE CAPE YOU COULD GET HALF A FOOT OF SNOW IF IT WAS COLD ENOUGH. BUT IT WILL NOT BE COLD ENOUGH. SO IT WILL FALL AGAIN IN THE FORM OF RAIN. That’s why we have cloudy skies and cold temperatures of 24 to 38 degrees for your overnight low this evening. AND TOMORROW, A FEW MORNING COOKIES AND SPRINKLES. THEN WE MAY SEE SOMETHING OF RAIN AND SNOW MIX HERE AROUND 2:00 PM. Easy stuff. AND THE EVENING SNOW. I’d say everything will be gone by midnight. REALLY, AFTER ABOUT 7 OR 8:00 MORNING NIGHT IT LOOKS LIKE MOST OF THEM ARE GONE BY THAT TIME TOO. But the important thing here is to watch the temperatures, which will really drop as we approach Sunday, and the winds will increase, meaning the wind chill index will be below zero on Sunday. It’s going to be cold out there. So there won’t be much sunshine on Saturday, maybe even some temporary rain. On Sunday the cold will really ease with the wind. On Monday the wind will die down but it will still be cold, especially in the morning. LOW TEMPERATURE ABOUT EIGHT DEGREES. THEN WE START WITH A LITTLE HEAT TREND, WARM ENOUGH THAT THE QUESTION ARISES IF IT WILL BE RAIN OR SNOW TUESDAY NIGHT. And that would be Christmas Eve. THAT IS NOW IN QUESTION. BUT RIGHT NOW THERE IS A CHANCE, SMALL CHANCE. It could snow a little on Christmas Eve.
