Regardless of the outcome, Seattle still has hope after struggling to a very ugly win on Thursday.

Every team had more than six punts, more than three sacks, more than two fumbles, at least one turnover and zero touchdowns. It will be the first such game since October 11, 1987, when the Indianapolis Colts defeated the New York Jets 6-0 in a contest with substitutes during a strike.

Even though Thursday’s game – the lowest-scoring game in the league this season and the second game without a touchdown – wasn’t particularly worth watching, Saturday night’s showdown between the Cardinals and Rams will be the culmination of an NFL tripleheader Network, a must-see TV for the Seahawks.

“I’ll watch every snap,” Macdonald said.

Screw the optics, the Seahawks took care of business against the Bears. Now they hope for the best and wait to see how the rest of Week 17 unfolds and what happens to their prospects for Week 18.

“Honestly, we shouldn’t be in this position, and the most important thing is to understand that we have to control our destiny if we can,” Smith said. “But yeah, I’m going to be a big fan of Kyler Murray on Saturday. If they can do it, they can do it, but we will go into the final week of the season with the same mindset no matter what happens.”
