“It would be very Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul” – Noah Lyles hints at possible time and place for a race against Tyreek Hill

Noah Lyles may have found the date for a possible race between him and Tyreek Hill.

The NFL’s 2025 Pro Bowl games.

On his podcast “Beyond the Records,” Lyles and his co-hosts Rai Benjamin and Grant Holloway, also Olympians, discussed the details of a possible Lyles-Hill race, with Holloway saying he’s also up against a star NFL wide receiver DK Metcalf would compete.

“Grant, would you face DK Metcalf?” Lyles asked. “Would you take him in a 40-yard dash?”

“Of course,” Holloway replied promptly, then looked into the camera to say, “DK, you probably don’t know me, I’m a big fan. You’re on my fantasy team, so keep doing your thing.”

“But hey, let’s do it, man. If Noah Tyreek takes over…look, I’ll take the undercard. I think that would be good.”

Benjamin then suggested where these races could take place.

“I think it would be good to do it at All-Star Weekend.”

Lyles then smiled very suspiciously and mischievously.

“I’m already giving too much information,” Lyles said. “The best I can say is that it would be very Mike Tyson-Jake Paul type.”

“It would be cool to do a crossover at the Pro Bowl,” Benjamin suggested. “When you listen to NFL executives, pay attention to Pro Bowl crossover.”

The entire time, Lyles had an “I know something you don’t know” grin on his face.

Let the speculation begin.

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will take place on February 2nd in Orlando, Florida.

A crossover between the men’s 100m Olympic champion and arguably the fastest player in the NFL would be quite a spectacle.

It would almost certainly get higher ratings than the actual Pro Bowl games themselves.

Lyles has previously hinted at facing Hill, saying he would only face the NFL star wide receiver on his own terms.

“I mean, if someone wants to sponsor the event and we’re racing for millions of dollars and it’s on a track and we’re running 100 meters, then of course we can race,” Lyles told NBC News.

“But it has to be real. I’m not here to play games. You are competing against a man who has worked his whole life to win the title of “fastest man in the world,” and you have worked to become a great soccer player.

“You can’t just jump the line because you’re a great football player.”

It appears that a Lyles Hill race is much closer than first thought.

Presenting it as a massive Mike Tyson and Jake Paul-style event, with undercards like Holloway vs. Metcalf, Christian Coleman vs. Xavier Worthy, is a great way to do that.

Whether that is realistic or not is another question.

Whether Lyles and Hill will actually agree to compete against each other is the main question.

There are many questions that need to be answered for this to work, but it seems there are answers we don’t know about yet.
